This year Fourth Grade will use a variety of instructional techniques, tactile as well as traditional, that will focus on editing skills in grammar and spelling. Seventh and Eighth Grade peer tutors will assist with a tutorial program for Fourth Graders using our vocabulary books.
In Social Studies this year, we will study Virginia state history. We will learn about the men and women that helped Virginia grow by using a hands-on strategy that will enhance technology and research skills.
In Religion we will be studying both the Old and New Testaments and approaching a deeper understanding of the Ten Commandments. In addition, we will be learning several new prayers.
