St. John School Cafeteria is the best lunch buy in town. It's not the usual items which many schools are catering now. Many things such as soup, subs and salads are prepared from fresh ingredients for both students and teachers. With no federal funds aiding the program, St. John serves a quality meal for a reasonable cost. Children really do learn to enjoy fresh vegetables, of which we have a wide selection. The faculty and staff "complain" of the inviting aromas from the kitchen making it sometimes difficult to keep them and students on task during the morning. We can satisfy your sweet tooth with a variety of chips and ice cream for sale or fresh fruit for those who prefer the sweetness of nature.
Stop in for a visit; we just might have an apron waiting for you, some dishes to dry or a salad plate for your delight. Parents and Grandparents with helpful hands are always welcome be it for a brief visit or a lengthy chat. Come see what's cookin' in the kitchen!

Lunch Prices
Lunch for Grades K - 8 - The cost of lunch is $4.00. This price includes lunch and a choice of milk or water.
Additional Lunch Servings - Additional lunch servings are for middle school students only. The cost is $1.75.
Milk, Juice and Water - Drink are $0.50 each. Students may purchase drinks at the milk table or charge them to their lunch account.
Snacks and Ice Cream - Assorted snack and ice cream items are available for purchase and range in price from $0.50 - $2.25. Ice Cream is cash only and cannot be purchased on account.
Peanut and Food Allergies
It is the parents' responsibility to decide whether their child should take the risk of eating hot lunch meals if the child has a peanut or food allergy of any kind.
Lunch Schedule
Grades K - 4 - Attend lunch from 11:10 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.
Grades 5 - 8 - Attend lunch from 11:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.

To inquire about your balance, please contact the school office.
Lunch Account Details
ALL LUNCHES MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE!
Students who are purchasing lunch will need to set up an account with an initial starter balance.
Once a week notices will be sent home when your account is nearing a negative balance.
To put money on account, make your check payable to "St. John School" in a sealed envelope marked "Cafeteria" and write your family name on the outside.
Money sent in with your child should be given to the teacher or the office.
For families with multiple children, notices will be sent home with the youngest child.
Reminder notices that need to be mailed home will include a $1.00 fee to cover clerical costs.
